Help with the Southern California Fires

As we are sure you know, our neighbors to the South are experiencing a series of wildfires that started in Los Angeles County and have spread throughout the region. The Palisades Fire, Eaton Fire, Hurst Fire & Woodley Fire all have continued to spread as the area experiences extreme high winds. Los Angeles County is experiencing unprecedented damage and structure loss as we speak. We here at San Mateo Supper Club want to do what we can to help.

Part of our dream in starting our supper club is to build community and strengthen our local food economy. To that effect, for all the meals that we sell this coming week we will donate 10% to the California Fire Foundation (calfirefoundation.org). We know it seems like there isn't much we can do, but we can do a little by helping to fund an organization that helps Californians after fires by providing direct financial support to impacted individuals.

We could go on about how great our meals are and how the service helps you save time and frees up your evenings so you can enjoy your favorite people and work on your most pressing projects and to-dos, but right now it seems like others could use our help a little more. So help us help our neighbors to the south by ordering up some meals and we will donate 10% of all that we sell to this charity. Order now HERE and we will take care of both making & delivering your meals, as well as donating 10% to the California Fire Foundation.

Personally, two of my brothers-in-law are fire fighters, and these people spend their entire careers working to save lives and save property, often risking their own lives in the process. Let us help them by doing what we always do--make meals and deliver them, and we will use the proceeds to help our neighbors in need. Order now HERE to make a small difference in someone's life who is impacted by the fires. And, if you've already ordered your meals will also be counted in this donation period.

Meanwhile we can be grateful for our current rain and gentle weather. Thanks for helping us to help others and make our dreams into reality.

We can't wait to serve you and help our impacted neighbors down South.

Sincerely,

Chef Ginny, Chef Jess & Chef Maco
